TORQUAY
Dose up on surf culture at Torquay, the home of Bells Beach and birthplace of iconic brands Rip Curl and Quicksilver. Located 95km south west of Melbourne, Torquay is Victoria's surfing and beach worship capital, and the official start of the Great Ocean Road

LEARNERS
We want to advise you that we will not be teaching anyone how to surf on this camp as it is not a learn-to-surf camp. However, the camp is open to surfers of all skill levels as long as you are confident to be in the water and can swim.

SURFBOARDS
You will require a surfboard for this event so if you do not own one you will either need to hire one or organise to borrow and/or share someone else’s. There are a few surf hire shops around Torquay where boards and other equipment can be hired for reasonable prices. Alternatively, the SBC Facebook group is a good place to see if any members would have a board you can use.

AIRBNB
We will not be camping on this trip so there is no need for camping equipment. You will need to bring your own towels and sheets/sleeping bag, and of course since it is someone else’s home please take care not to damage anything at the property.

TRANSPORT
Transport down to Torquay is NOT included for this trip. If you do not have a car or a lift down with someone you will need to organise one through our Facebook group (SBC Discussion Group).

FOOD
We will be cooking up food for dinner and breakfast, but for lunch and any other meals/snacks you will need to have money on you to buy this yourself.
