How can people who don’t think they are a leader still have influence and help the world be a better place? What can we learn from professionals and employers trying to do just that? In this Industry Visit students meet on campus and visit Teach for Australia’s HQ in Flinders Lane. At the non-profit students will hear about the organisation’s mission, thoughts on leadership and individual journey from those working for the organisation.

In this Industry Visit students will talk with key Teach for Australia staff. At the non-profit students will hear about the organisation’s mission, thoughts on leadership and individual journey from those working for the organisation.

Teach for Australia is a graduate employer and has won numerous awards for the quality of its program and the staff of the organisation are diverse and varied in their professional expertise and qualifications. Students are encouraged to bring tough questions and will be answered candidly.

Students will leave with:
1. Understanding how to quickly aid in decision making during the early stages of a career
2. Learn how graduate programs recruit and value leadership skills
3. The opportunity to ask any and all questions from a suite of professionals
