Level Up: Sport Clubs Info-Session with Luke
This Level Up session is an opportunity for our Sport Club leaders to access information and resources to equip them for some of the more specific challenges that Sport Clubs face. RSVP your spot via the provided link.
Some of our sport clubs participate in seasonal competitions, conduct trainings that require instructors and need to purchase and store specialised equipment (such as nets, bats, protective gear etc). This is in addition to organising social events and online activities!
Workshop Learning Objectives & Outcomes:
Participants who attend this session will have the opportunity to develop a yearly event and competition calendar, understand how to determine a sustainable and comprehensive membership fee, and work through Student Life finance procedures and processes to ensure that all club purchases adhere to policy and add value to their club.
- Develop a comprehensive yearly/seasonal plan or calendar for a sporting club, factoring in sporting and social activities.
- Create a membership fee/product that adequately factors in club activities, competitions, and club goals.
- Increased knowledge of, and adherence to, Student Life purchasing processes and procedures.
Training will consist of three main information blocks, followed by group work to to enforce practical learning. The session will end with a fun Kahoot quiz with time for Q&A!
